Democracy Day: ACPP commends Buhari’s speech



The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his clear and unequivocal delivery of this year democracy day speech.  ACPP described the speech as highly cogent, persuasive and swaying.

According to Prince Adeleke Adesoji Masilo, the Chairman of ACPP “the President has done everything possible to deliver expected dividends of democracy to Nigerians. He has also proved to Nigerians that he is caring, focus, relentless and ready to accept any mistake committed by his government”.

Prince Masilo finally noted that Buhari’s speech addressed all the inherent issues bordering on fundamentals and foundations of the nation.

Ajibola Bashiru set to launch his latest book the “Fundamentals of Secured Finance Law”


 Dr. Ajibola Bashiru popularly known as SRJ, the current Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of the state of Osun and the former Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration is set tolaunch his latest book title the “Fundamentals of Secured Finance Law” on Monday 28th of May, 2018 by 9:00am at Aurora Event Center along Ring Road, Osogbo, State of Osun.

This was made known by the Chairman of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP), Prince Adesoji Adeleke Masilo in Osogbo on Sunday.


The book is written is a riveting and easy-to-read format and this is perhaps not surprising coming from a writer whose background is legal profession.

Dr. Ajibola Bashiru was born in Osogbo General Hospital, Osogbo fourty eight years ago. He attended Laro Grammar School for his secondary school education. He further read law at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) specializing in Private and Property Law. Dr. Ajibola bagged his LL.B, LL.M and Ph.D from the same University.

The Chairman of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) Prince Adesoji  Adeleke Masilo has congratulated Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the incumbent governor of the state of Osun who turns 61 years recently. 

Prince Masilo in a birthday message described Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as a thorough bred Omoluabi, intelligent, honest and a compassionate leader. 

According to the message “those of us who have known Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola for decades, are not surprised by any of the developmental project he has brought to the state of Osun. Aregbesola’s humility and love of public service are what is making his efforts relevant. Building of several model school buildings across the state have improved the learning environments for pupils in our state.”

“Your support of small-scale business and empowerment of women through your beautiful wife has not gone unnoticed.”

“Safer and motorable roads are credited to your administration. State of Osun has gone a long way socio-economically under your leadership. You have carried us along in your drive to making the state a better place to live. You have built roads and bridges to link isolated communities bringing them back into contact with the state. You have always looked for best ways to serve your people in your capacity.”

In conclusion, ACPP prays to God to grant Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola many more healthy and impactful years in the service of humanity.

ACPP Urges Muslims to Pray for Ogbeni Aregbesola and the State of Osun during Ramadan 




As Muslims worldwide begin mandatory fasting as required by their faith, the State of Osun Chairman of the Alliance of Collaborating Political parties (ACPP), Prince Adesoji Adeleke Masilo has called on all Muslim in the State of Osun to use this duration of Ramadan to pray for the Executive Governor of the State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the State of Osun in particular for peace and harmony to reign among the people of the state.

Prince Adesoji Adeleke Masilo said this in a press statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, State of Osun Capital yesterday.

The pioneer Chairman of IPAC admonished the Muslim faithfuls to let the Ramadan fasting period reflects on their faith and relations with their creator and neighbors.

Prince Masilo, the one-time Coordinator of IPAC States Chairmen in Nigeria urged Muslims resident within and outside the state to continue to live in harmony with members of other religious faiths as brothers and sisters stressing that Islam is a religion of peace that abhors violence as a form of interaction with members of other religious faiths.

ACPP Commiserates with Gov. Abiola Ajimobi over death of Speaker


The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) in the State of Osun has expressed sadness over the death of Hon. Michael Adeyemo, ex-speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, saying that the deceased was one of the most accommodating, generous and refined politicians Oyo State has produced.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by the association’s Chairman, Prince Adeleke Adesoji Masilo in Osogbo on Monday.

According to the release “On behalf of all politicians and Kings in the State of Osun, we received the shocking death of ex-Oyo Assembly Speaker, Hon. Michael Adeyemo with bewilderment. Ex-Oyo Assembly Speaker, Michael Adeyemo has contributed immensely to the development of contemporary politics and legislative arm of the state. This is a great lesson to all of us. Adeyemo is gone now but his good works and contributions will linger in the memory of his people forever. And thank God he left good children behind”.

The statement further contained that, “His passage is a great loss not only to his state and constituents but the entire nation. His vibrant leadership in coordinating the affairs of the House would be greatly missed. Such interventions have contributed to shaping state discourse.”

The pioneer Chairman of IPAC (State of Osun Chapter) takes solace in the biblical injunction that every soul shall taste death and therefore, prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker. He also prayed to God to grant the Adeyemo Family of Alaarun compound, Lanlate, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi, the Chairman, Oyo State Council of Traditional rulers, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Alaafin of Oyo, Oyo State executives and members of NBA and the entire people of Oyo State the fortitude to bear the loss,” the statement added.
