ACPP
congratulates Osun Speaker, Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye) on his 53rd
birthday
The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties
(ACPP) in the State of Osun, under the leadership of Prince Adesoji Masilo
Adeleke has congratulated the Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly,
Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye) on the celebration of his 53rd
birthday.
In a statement made available to newsmen on
Monday, the Chairman of the Alliance, Prince Adesoji Masilo Adeleke, described
the Speaker as a selfless and committed leader.
According to Prince
Masilo “Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam’s selfless and impressive political and
developmental achievements in less than seven years in office have placed his
name on sands of time.
The Chairman of the
Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) further described Rt. Hon.
Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye) as a gentleman of honour, courage and
integrity, a leading light of this generation, a consummate politician of our
time and a courageous Captain of our ship.
“Ejigbo has benefited immensely from your fountain of
knowledge, wealth of experience, political sagacity and leadership acumen. The
remarkable impact you have made in all spheres of human endeavour remains a
reference point. This is so that you can continue to make significant
contributions to the overall development of our state in particular and our
nation, Nigeria in general,” he said”
“A core democrat. Despite losing the APC Governorship primary,
he didn’t decamp to another party but accepted defeat and extended hands of
friendship to the elected governorship candidate in person of Chief Gboyega
Oyetola. We have witnessed crisis-free legislative parliament under your watch
compared to your predecessor’s regime. We witnessed crisis under Barrister
Adewale Afolabi house leadership (1992-1993), Barrister (Dr) Mojeed Olujinmi
Alabi house leadership (1999-2003) and Rafiu Adejare Bello house leadership
(2003-2011). Despite stiff opposition in the present House which was also
experienced by your predecessors, you were able control and maintain orders and
peace. This was possible through your quality leadership and transparent
legislative activities.”
Members of the Alliance of Collaborating
Political Parties (ACPP) under the leadership of Prince Adesoji Masilo Adeleke
finally prayed that Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye) new age will
herald a newness of Vision, Vigour and Vehemence in his determination to steer
the ship of the State of Osun House of Assembly and her people to enviable
heights of meaningful development and
