Sequel to a meeting held on the 23rd of August, 2018 at the State of Osun IPAC (Interparty Advisory Council) Secretariat in Osogbo, which had the Vice Chairman, Alh. Rafiu Anifowose, Secretary, Dr. Gbenga Afeni, Deputy Secretary, Hon. Victor Olopade, Publicity Secretary, Dr. Adekunle Oyerinde and Treasurer Mrs. Elujulo Sarah in attendance.

Political parties, governorship candidates, security agents and political members of the public have been warned to desist from dealing or associating themselves with the current State of Osun IPAC (interparty Advisory Council) Chairman, Dr. Idowu Omidiji of the United Progressive Party (UPP) who have been accused of using IPAC for his own selfish interest and political alliance for the forthcoming governorship elections in the state.

Other parts of the allegations levelled against Dr. Idowu Omidiji of the United Progressive Party (UPP) the current IPAC (Interparty Advisory Council) Chairman bordering around unilaterally operating the organization without carrying other excos along thereby damaging the good reputation and contrary to the IPAC Code of Conduct which coordinates the entire activities of the organization.

Whichever party, governorship candidates, representatives or political members of the public currently dealing with Dr. Idowu Omidiji on the platform of IPAC (Interparty Advisory Council) are doing so at the own peril.

Governorship candidates are finally urged to deal with Dr. Idowu Omidiji and his political party, the United Progressive Party (UPP) and not under the platform of IPAC (Interparty Advisory Council).

This is so that you can continue to make significant contributions to the overall development of our state in particular and our nation, Nigeria in general,” he said”

“A core democrat. Despite losing the APC Governorship primary, he didn’t decamp to another party but accepted defeat and extended hands of friendship to the elected governorship candidate in person of Chief Gboyega Oyetola. We have witnessed crisis-free legislative parliament under your watch compared to your predecessor’s regime. We witnessed crisis under Barrister Adewale Afolabi house leadership (1992-1993), Barrister (Dr) Mojeed Olujinmi Alabi house leadership (1999-2003) and Rafiu Adejare Bello house leadership (2003-2011). Despite stiff opposition in the present House which was also experienced by your predecessors, you were able control and maintain orders and peace. This was possible through your quality leadership and transparent legislative activities.”
