We Are Not Calling For New Members, Beware Of People Using Governor Oyetola’s Name To Dupe Political Parties – ACPP Cries Out

WE ARE NOT CALLING FOR NEW MEMBERS, BEWARE OF PEOPLE USING GOVERNOR OYETOLA’S NAME TO DUPE POLITICAL PARTIES – ACPP CRIES OUT

The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) led by Alh. Rafiu Anifowose has appealed to all the Chairmen of registered political parties in the state of Osun to disregard a recent call made by some individuals calling for new members into the Alliance. ACPP described the action as illegal, unconstitutional and criminal offence knowing fully well that the only legit and duly recognized by the law of the state is that of the one led by Alh. Rafiu Anifowose who have the legal right to do so by law.

According to Alh. Rafiu Anifowose of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) “The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties under my leadership was registered on the 14th February, 2019 under the State of Osun Enterprises Identification Edict 1999 with 12 Political Parties namely; Green Party of Nigeria (GPN), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP), Mass Alliance Joint Action (MAJA), Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP), Change Advocacy Party (CAP), People for Democratic Change (PDC),Coalition for Change (C4C), Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), Action Alliance (AA) and Peoples Coalition Party (PCP) as foundation members.”

“The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties was also registered with a 10-Page members-oriented constitution which was signed by all the political parties involved”.

“Chairmen of registered political parties in Osun are learned and educated people. They know the difference between running a legal association and an illegal association. They should ask Masilo who is calling himself ACPP Chairman to produce ACPP’s Certificate of Registration and ACPP’s Constitution. Masilo and his group don’t have it. Governor Oyetola can never involve himself in any illegal and unlawful practice. He is our Governor, he recognizes us. They are lying that they have support and endorsement from the government. If truly they have it, people should ask for evidence of their claim, may be To Whom It May Concern or letter of recommendation written and signed by the governor himself. They don’t have all these things and they can’t show them”.

Registered political parties should be aware of Masilo’s use and dump strategy as IPAC election is coming. Currently, Masilo has only 5 political parties in his camp, looking for more political parties to convince the governor he could win the forthcoming IPAC State Election for him. Masilo’s aim is to use Gbenga Afeni as Chairman of IPAC with tricks of giving all other IPAC positions to pro PDP political parties in order to give him their support. He fully knows that those of us pro APC political parties who worked for the emergence of Governor Gboyega Oyetola will never join forces with him to achieve his selfish intention. The only trick for him now is to call for new members. It’s a trap and people should run away from it”

“Our call for new membership will be announced and published alongside the names of our screening committee members setup to handle the process.”

ACCP finally urged all Chairmen of registered political parties in the state of Osun to be very vigilant and careful in joining unlawful association and desist from associating themselves with impersonators.
