ACPP LAUDS OYETOLA’S RESPONSE TO SECURITY CHALLENGES,
ASSURES HIM OF THEIR USUAL SUPPORT AFTER TODAY’S IPAC ELECTIONS
The Alliance of Collaborating Political
Parties (ACPP) has commended State of Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola for his
efforts at uniting and securing the state and her citizens. Also lauded
Governor Gboyega Oyetola for doing well as Chief Security Officer in the state.
ACPP hailed Gboyega Oyetola’s government
for being alive to its statutory obligations of ensuring security of lives and
property for the state’s resident since inception.
Also commending all the security
agencies for their proactive initiatives that led to peaceful existence among
the citizens of the state. ACPP however called for more cooperation and
intelligence sharing among the citizens of the state and security agencies.
This was contained in a press release
issued and signed by the Chairman, Comrade Folorunsho Mojeed, Secretary, Mr.
Victor Olopade and made available to the pressmen after an emergency meeting of
the group held in Osogbo today.
ACPP also commended Governor Gboyega
Oyetola for following and building on the legacies and good works of his
predecessor, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola who is now the country’s Interior
Minister.
According to Comrade Folorunsho Mojeed,
ACPP Chairman “for clarity of doubt, we are solidly behind the administration
of Governor Gboyega Oyetola as against some lies some people like Adesoji Masilo
Adeleke are peddling around against us. We are all part of the 20 registered
political parties which publicly endorsed Governor Gboyega Oyetola before the Osun
Governorship re-run election. We also adopted his candidacy before the first
phase of the election as against some lies some people cooked against us. These
facts can be confirmed through newspapers pages published a day before the
re-run election. We are all for Governor Gboyega Oyetola. Governor Gboyega
Oyetola’s cabinet’s members should desist listening to lies and hears say
cooked against us.”
“Whoever that wins today’s Osun IPAC
Election will surely work with Governor Gboyega Oyetola. We are fully aware of
how some individuals have been going around lying against us and even depriving
us our rights. We all worked for Governor Gboyega Oyetola, facts and evidences
are there. Peace and Unity that is what we want in Osun IPAC and among the
registered political parties in the state. We are very confident that whoever emerges
in today’s IPAC election will surely work hands in hands with the government of
today, ACPP state Scretary, Hon. Victor Olopade said with truthful assurance.
Finally, ACPP which made up of the old
and new members under the leadership of Comrade Folorunsho Mojeed assured
Governor Gboyega Oyetola of their sincere cooperation aim at taking the State
of Osun to a greater height under his political administration.
