ACPP
appoints acting Chairman, others. Assures Governor Gboyega Oyetola of their loyalty
and support.
Sequel to the
registration of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) and the
recent death of one of the Chieftains of the Alliance in person of the Late Dr.
Adekunle Oyerinde, the immediate past Chairman of the Mass Action Joint
Alliance (MAJA) and the former Spokesperson of the Alliance in the state. The Alliance
on the 8th of September, 2019 announced the appointments of Comrade
Mojeed Folorunsho and Hon. Olopade Victor as Chairman and Secretary of the
Alliance respectively.
According to the
Alliance, Comrade Mojeed Folorunsho is the current state Chairman of Justice
Must Prevail Party (JMPP) while Hon. Olopade Victor is the current Chairman of
the Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP).
Other appointed officials included, Hon. Ibrahim
Jamiu (Vice Chairman), Hon. Adeloye Ogunmodede (Director of Information and
Media), Dr. Mrs. Sarah Oyerinde (Treasurer), Mr. Femi Adeniran (Director of
Social/Welfare), Hon. Kolawole Ojonla (Director of Political Parties and Public
Issues), Hon. Adeleke Mathew (Director of Finance).
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Mojeed
Folorunsho promised to run an open door and inclusive administration. He
further solicited the steadfast support of ACPP members to allow the new EXCO
to succeed.
ACPP, recently registered, recognized and
identified by the State of Osun Association identification Edict of 1999 with
the registration number of C584 now an umbrella body of nine registered political
parties committed to propagating the good works of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and
the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun rated governor Gboyega Oyetola high, stressing that
he has earned the support of majority of the people and initiated developmental
projects less than a year.
ACPP however assured him of their support and
dedication to his government.
ACPP, finally said Gov. Gboyega Oyetola
led political administration has in it sound and selfless service transformed
various dreams and vision of the State of Osun into reality.
